A stunning pair of moonstone, sapphire, and diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! These stunning earrings are crafted in platinum and begin with three small diamonds held within milgrained bezel settings. The bottom of the diamond adorned component features a deep blue, triangular cut sapphire held within a milgrained bezel setting. Attached to the top link is a large moonstone held within a bezel setting. The moonstones are very clear and have a translucent, pale blue color which flashes in the light. The earrings have great movement, and incorporate a unique, yet stunning color palette. The earrings are connected to platinum posts and feature friction backs. Both elegant and feminine, they look breathtaking when worn and would be perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/4" long and are approximately a little less than 1/4" wide at the base.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the moonstones, diamonds, or sapphires, all of which are intact. The earring posts and backs are secure and intact.
